For entry you need a valid passport and a visa. You can get it at a border crossing point or at Kathmandu airport. The visa is valid for 30 days and costs 40 US dollars (but can also be paid in euros). You must also present a passport photo at the airport.
You can also apply for your visa at the Nepalese Embassy in Berlin (Guerickestraße 27, 10587 Berlin) and at the Nepalese Honorary General Consulates in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart.
The Federal Foreign Office recommends checking the standard vaccinations according to the current vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute for Children and Adults (see: www. rki. de) during a trip and completing them if necessary. These include vaccinations against tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis and polio, possibly also measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), influenza (flu) and pneumococcus.
A valid yellow fever vaccination is only required for entry from a yellow fever endemic area (see www.who.int). There are no compulsory vaccination regulations for direct entry from Germany.
